California Lutheran University is consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a Top Tier university in the Western United States in the Top 200 in the US by Forbes Magazine and the MBA is ranked amoung the Top 200 in North America. CLU is the perfect size to provide a wide array of academic and professional opportunities under the guidance of the university’s distinguished and highly-qualified faculty. The average class size is 20 students. All classes are taught by professors (not teaching assistants), and professors also serve as academic advisors to guide students through their education at California Lutheran.

Housing
The city of Thousand Oaks is ranked by the FBI as one of the safest cities in the United States. It is one hour from Los Angeles, 30 minutes from the beaches, and has a perfect climate. All aspects of the quality of life are superb. All of these things result in an extremely safe and desirable, but somewhat expensive community. Master's candidates are eligible for residence suites, and bachelor's candidates live in campus residence halls.
